Hall of Fame

The 2017 Hall of Fame nominations for horses and people close on the 1st of August.

Attention all club committees - Show results

All show results to be recorded for the 2016/2017 end of year hi point awards must be lodged at the AAA office no later than the 14th of August 2017.


Crystal Horse Awards

 

The AAA Ltd introduces 2 new Awards August 1st 2017

 

** CRYSTAL HORSE AWARDS**

 

A Halter and a Performance award for the highest number of points awarded in a show season, however the minimum number of points earned shall be 400. Each trophy will be numbered.

 

To be eligible the horse owner/s must be AAA Ltd financial member, a members of a AAA regional club and compete at their state show.

All Appaloosas competing can nominate for these awards by emailing AAA office with horses information. Horse already nominated for AAA Ltd End of Year Hi point awards are automatically eligible for these awards.

The culmination of all the horses points including Open, Youth and Amateur count towards these awards.

 

End of Year Hi Point Award 2017/2018 show season Nomination Fees

As from August 1st 2017, a nomination fee of $20 per horse/amateur/youth applies. (1 fee for all high points).

Point recording will only take place from the date the form and fee are received by the AAA office.

Foal Recording

As of the 1st of August 2017, mare owners ate required to record all foals within 90 days of birth. A fee of $10 for financial members per foal.

The recording fee will  deducted from the full registration when submitted by the mare owner.

Non-members can foal record for $20, non deductible from the registration fee. This application does not give show rights, or inclusion into the AAA Ltd Studbook.

Attention Clubs

As of 1st August 2017, application for a AA appaloosa approved show will not require the $500 mandatory prize money. This applies for the 2017/2018 show season only.

 

Novice Youth

As from August 1st 2017, Youth can apply by ticking the Novice box on their AAA membership form.

This will allow AAA  Youth to compete in Novice Youth at open AQHA shows. At this time AAA approved shows are not required to run novice youth events.
