When he was a Stallion, he sired 2 coloured progeny. One was TS Bronze Sun who went on to receive his AAA ltd Champion Award.

He has also taken Meaghan Hennessy to three-time High Point Amateur of Australia 1989-90, 1990/91, 1991192 and runner up 1992/93 and Meaghan also achieved her AAA Ltd Amateur Versatility No 1. on him.

One of Ralph’s highlights was at the 1991 National Show winning the Senior Horse Trail it was such a hard class to win as there were some great trail horses in his time, you could feel and see him thinking about what step to take so he would not knock over a pole. Also, he made the Western Riding look like a breeze.

Meaghan believes it was lucky John decided to geld Ralph at the age of 3, because as a stallion with his mind on “other” things he may not have achieved such great results. This decision was supported by him resulting in a fantastic gelding.
